Three barrels made. This young, intense wine shows aromas of citrus, particularly lemon, spice and a touch of savouriness from ageing on yeast lees and slowly opens with time. The palate is focused, textured, nutty, mineral and long. The cool season origins give the brightness and intensity and the wine opens and reveals increased texture and fruit complexity over a few days.
Recommended cellaring for three years then drinking for seven years+.
